Kenan Thompson (; born May x, 1978)[1] is an American comedian and role player. Thompson has been a cast member on the NBC sketch one-act series Sabbatum Nighttime Live since 2003, making him the longest-tenured cast member in the show's history.[2] He was also the beginning regular cast member born after the show's premiere in 1975. Outside of SNL, Thompson starred on NBC's sitcom Kenan from 2021 to 2022.
Thompson began his interim career in the early 1990s, and was an original bandage member of Nickelodeon's sketch one-act series All That (1994-2005), where he often collaborated with co-star Kel Mitchell. Beginning in 1996, they starred in their ain sitcom Kenan & Kel (1996–2000). Thompson too had roles in The Mighty Ducks franchise, Practiced Burger, and as the title grapheme in the 2004 film Fatty Albert.

Thompson was born on May x, 1978, in Columbus, Ohio.[iv] His parents are Fletcher and Elizabeth Ann Thompson. He has two siblings: an older brother and a younger sis. He starred as Kenan Rockmore on Nickelodeon's Kenan & Kel from 1996 to 2000, more often than not while still working on All That.[8] He began interim in his beginning motion-picture show, D2: The Mighty Ducks, while attending Tri-Cities High Schoolhouse, a visual and performing arts magnet schoolhouse in East Point, Georgia.

Thompson has starred in several films including Skillful Burger, based on the All That sketch of the same championship, and Fat Albert, in which he played the title character. He has also had supporting roles in the movies Heavyweights, D2: The Mighty Ducks, D3: The Mighty Ducks, Love Don't Cost a Thing, Barbershop 2: Back in Concern, My Dominate's Girl, and Snakes on a Aeroplane.
In 2009, Thompson was a regular voice player in the Flim-flam drawing series Sit Downward, Shut Up, portraying Sue Sezno who, like her final proper noun, always says no.[ix] The series premiered on Apr 19, 2009,[9] but was canceled after only four episodes due to depression ratings and poor reviews. Thompson voiced the LeBron James boob in Nike's MVP "Almost Valuable Puppets" commercials, which were produced to be shown throughout the 2009 NBA playoffs. Thompson became the most senior cast fellow member in the second half of the 2013–14 season, following the departure of Seth Meyers. Thompson married model Christina Evangeline[41] on November eleven, 2011.[42] Together, they take 2 daughters: one born in June 2014,[43] [44] and the younger in August 2018.[45]
